Privacy notice

Last updated September 2026. Plain-language summary — beta stage.

Draft, beta stage. This is a plain-language placeholder written for an early beta, not a finished legal document. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. We'll replace it with a proper privacy policy before ZMediaAR leaves beta.

What we collect

When you create an account, we store your email address (used only for magic-link sign-in). When you create an experience, we store the marker image, the video you upload, and basic metadata like the title and view count. When you use the contact or waitlist form, we store what you type in it, including your email.

Camera access

The public viewer page asks for camera access to track your printed marker in real time. That tracking happens on your own device — ZMediaAR does not record, upload, or store camera footage. If you don't grant camera access, the viewer can't run the AR tracking.

Who can see your data

Only you can see your draft experiences and your dashboard. Published experiences and their marker image and video are publicly viewable by anyone with the link or QR code — that's how the product works. Don't publish anything you don't want strangers to see.

Where data lives

ZMediaAR is built on Supabase, a third-party hosting provider, for authentication, the database, and file storage. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Beta-stage limits

Because ZMediaAR is under active development, we recommend not uploading anything sensitive or irreplaceable. Data structures, retention, and this notice may change as the product evolves.
